Spoiler warning for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. NO Spoilers for No Way Home

The newest Spiderman movie, starring Tom Holland, was exclusively released in theaters on December 17th. This movie stars Zendaya as MJ and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. No Way Home is a continuation of the Tom Holland Spiderman movies – part of phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, taking place after Avengers: Endgame. There were rumors about another possible appearance: Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, or Venom. From the post-credit scene in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, there was a hint of a connection between the two movies. In the scene, Venom attempts to show Eddie what he has experienced, but they end up transporting to be in the same world as Spiderman. This is right as the news is talking about Spiderman’s identity as Peter Parker.

Most traditional heroes have fallen out of style now, and I’m pretty sure just about all of us have created really edgy characters at some point. Most of our heroes are flawed and troubled in many ways, and the traditionally heroic hero is not as popular. But creating actually realistic characters that we can relate to is much harder than it seems these days.
