Hacknet: A Review

BY LOGAN SCHLOSSER

WEBMASTER

Hello to all of you reading this! I truly welcome you all back to my game review series after the summer hiatus! It truly does feel nice to be back in the swing of things and writing again. To kick things off, my name is Logan Schlosser, and I am the Web Editor for the ASOP Student Newspaper. The articles I write for the student newspaper are usually all technology centered. In fact, last year I wrote a whole gaming PC build guide! However, the majority of my articles follow the series of me reviewing games that I love, which will be what today’s installment will be for. You can check those past articles out on the ASOP website if you are interested. Anyways with shameless article plugs and semi-formal introductions behind us. Let’s get right into this week’s game!

Dude, Stop: A Review

BY LOGAN SCHLOSSER

Hello to all of you lovely people at home! Today is a very special installment of this series, as I am writing this a lot more tired than usual. So I apologize in advance to you all, also my editors, like they have to fix all of my sleep-deprived grammar. Anyways, today I have a treat of a game for you today. Now the review might be a bit shorter than usual, as the game is focused mainly on it’s comedy and I really don’t want to ruin the possible experience for you all. Anyways, I don’t wanna stall you all for much longer than I already do. So the game that I will be talking about today is Dude Stop.

Hello to all of you wonderful people sitting in your homes! Welcome back to another installment of “Logan reviews games, haha get it he’s still funny.” Anyways, it’s certainly been a few weeks since I’ve written anything. So I hope you all have been doing well over my hiatus! To get right into it, I will be reviewing a type of game that I never have before. Today I will be going into the genre of horror, and this particular horror game has an added twist. It’s a virtual reality immersed horror game where multiplayer is heavily encouraged. The game in question is, of course, Phasmophobia. Now with the introduction out of the way, let’s get right into the game!

Spelunky 2: A Review

Hello to all of you lovely people at home! Welcome back to your regularly scheduled programming. I know I basically spent my entire last article talking about hedge funds and all of that jazz, but we are back to the usual. And boy, I got a pretty cool article for you prepared today! My excitement for this article comes from the fact that I’ve actually  been playing this game’s predecessor for the past decade. So when the new installment of the series was released, I was hyped! It does indeed own up to its past title; it has everything that you could possibly hope for: from the time you died to a thing you couldn’t control, to more times that you die to unforeseen consequences. Now, without further ado, the game I will be talking about is… Spelunky 2!

WARNING: THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS TO THE BUNGO STRAY DOGS ANIME

Hi, and yes, I am doing another anime review because that’s all I know how to do. This time, I’m going to talk about Bungou Stray Dogs. With the fourth season coming in 2022, there’s much to enjoy about the current three seasons and one movie that’s available. Or you could read the manga, but today we’re talking about mostly the anime adaptation. The manga was written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa. It was officially serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s seinen manga magazine, Young Ace, in 2012 and adapted by Bones.

Hello to all of you lovely people once again! As you can see, we are back to our regularly scheduled programming. Now I can finally get back to writing sleep-deprived game reviews. Anyways, once again, today I have a wonderful game I can’t wait to share with you all! Now, I may not be able to write about as much for this game. This is because it is so much better to simply go in blind. This game is simply one of my favorite games just because of the humor that seems to never get boring. The game that has won this very special spot in my heart is the game Reventure. With that out of the way, let’s get into it!

Hello you wonderful people! Welcome to another rendition of me reviewing things in my room at 12AM. Today we will be looking at a game that I have spent 80.8 hours on. Those hours were spent over the course of only one year. Anyways this game is what I have rated Game-Of-The-Year for 2020; so it’s gotta be pretty good! With all of that hype out of the way, I might as well reveal what the game is that we are talking about! This game is called Noita; A roguelike spell building game that will frustrate you for hours to come. With that out of the way, let’s get into the gameplay!

Howdy to all of you wonderful people! I am once again your host Logan, and welcome to another great game review. Well, great is an opinion I guess. You get to judge if you perceive this article as great or not! Anyways, today I will be talking about a game that is near and dear to my heart. I’m sure you all have at least played this game at some point in your life. Whether it be on a friend’s phone or an overkill computer. This game has caused rage in many of us, often causing “rage quits” and “chucking your controller across the room”. The game in question is of course, Geometry Dash. With that being said, let’s get into it!

Hello once again to all of you lovely people at home! Welcome to another installment of ‘I review games, and you read about them’. The games I pick are usually ones that can be played by almost everyone. Be that hardware-wise or the actual content rating of the game. So sit back, grab yourself a nice cup of coffee, and listen to me go off-topic multiple times. Anyways, the game we will be reviewing today is Starbound. Now, Starbound essentially combines the elements of the popular game Terraria and turns it into a space adventure. Now with that out of the way, onto the game!
