STAR DARLINGS: THEN AND NOW

BY ALICE FONTANESI

STAFF WRITER

I know, I promised myself I’d never write a review again, but barely anyone has talked about this, which needs to change.

Okay, so why does Disney always start a few projects, but when one of them gets popular, they immediately drop everything else like it didn’t exist? Because, did you know that Disney has made multiple book series, and one of them was called Star Darlings, and it was pretty good.

Hacknet: A Review

BY LOGAN SCHLOSSER

WEBMASTER

Hello to all of you reading this! I truly welcome you all back to my game review series after the summer hiatus! It truly does feel nice to be back in the swing of things and writing again. To kick things off, my name is Logan Schlosser, and I am the Web Editor for the ASOP Student Newspaper. The articles I write for the student newspaper are usually all technology centered. In fact, last year I wrote a whole gaming PC build guide! However, the majority of my articles follow the series of me reviewing games that I love, which will be what today’s installment will be for. You can check those past articles out on the ASOP website if you are interested. Anyways with shameless article plugs and semi-formal introductions behind us. Let’s get right into this week’s game!

Some people say that although it was a tragedy, the killing of the sixteen-year-old child was necessary because she was armed. However, crisis response experts say that through de-escalating the situation, there was a way to resolve the situation and keep everyone alive.

As most people know it, a Mary Sue is a perfect character with no flaws, everyone likes them, and the world basically revolves around them. What people don’t realize is that Mary Sue is honestly a term that is thrown around quite loosely. There is no dictionary definition of a Mary Sue, but there are definitely defining characteristics of one.

Tips to Write a Song

BY CREIGHTON LEWIS

STAFF WRITER

Like many artistic pursuits, there’s no real right or wrong way to write a song. Each artist is different, and only telling you the way that I do it could be in the completely opposite order of what works best for you. Depending on whether you have a way with words, know how to encode double meanings and have the patience to come back to something, change it, hate it, and love different parts of it  every single day will determine whether you have the ability to write a song. The more critical you are on yourself and the more time and resources you have, the better.
