As far as I know, a lot of students here play video games, mainly Minecraft. As I was reading a book that made me stay up until 1:30 in the morning, making me HEAVILY tired as I was writing this, I had an idea…I will share some Gaming Hacks from that book!
That’s right, with the tips and tricks I have learned from this book, I shall now pass on to you gamers.
TIP 1: Keep your base camouflage. I mean like maybe build a base behind a waterfall and build a decoy base.
(hint: for a decoy base make it simple, or you will use up a lot of resources.)
TIP 2: Did you know that when fighting guardians/elder guardians, you should hide? True, they are not very smart despite their threat level (⅖) and they will forget all about you.
TIP 3: When in PvP combat, it is very important so when in melee I like to use “the stab in the back” move.
Step 1: When they try to fight you, use an ender pearl to teleport behind them.
Step 2: Apply lava to an enemy using a lava bucket.
Step 3: Teleport once more and then hit them with a fire aspect plus knockback diamond sword before the enemy turns around.
TIP 4: I am positive you have heard this one before, but just in case; don’t mine at night! This is true as mobs roam at night and in caves. So if you ignore this tip, use the other tip or you won’t survive.
TIP 5: Never leave home without a sword, pickaxe, ax, food, and armor. This is because you will need these in case of combat, tree cutting, mining, and health restoration.
TIP 6: Always bring water buckets, ladders, or signs. Also, if you have them, ender pearls.
Fun fact: signs and ladders can stop the flow of water and lava.
TIP 7: Make an obsidian generator. All you need are two water buckets and one lava bucket.
Step 1: make a 1×2 hole on three sides.
Step 2: place any block in the middle of the holes.
Step 3: place the lava on the top side, then on the other sides, and place the water. If done correctly, you will have a completed obsidian generator!
TIP 8: Be sure to farm. It’s simple. Lure some cows, chickens, and pigs into pens and farm crops to get food! Also, be sure to kill the adults as soon as they breed.
