The Isle of Cats is a game a lot like Tetris, where you are on an island and  trying to collect fancy cats to put on your boat. Each round, there are four cats per player around the island, and you have to fit as many as you can around your boat. You can get points by filling up rooms in your boat, fulfilling objectives, and covering up rats. The game also has a more complicated version with an extra type of cat and fish. The game fits up to four players and is very fun to play with anyone.

Wingspan is a game where you collect different types of bird cards to add to your collection. You get points by playing cards, goal cards, laying eggs, and you can even get birds that eat other birds. Each bird has its own power for you to use like drawing more birds or goal cards. It is fairly simple to learn, and it’s fun to play with anyone. There are also a lot of add-ons like wood birds and food tokens instead of small cubes and cardboard.

Tapestry is a civilization game where you are trying to build up from the start of humanity. Each round you are given resources to use for advancing the four knowledge tracks: science, technology, exploration, and —. Along with all the tracks, there are two boards. One is where all of the players are and you can add new tiles with the exploration track or conquer using the military track. The other board is your own where you can add buildings that you get from the tracks to gain points. Tapestry is a little bit longer–sitting a little over an hour–while fitting up to four people.
