The name ‘sloth’ originated around 1749 and was coined by the French. Today, sloths are considered to be one of the most unique animals in our ecosystem. But, in the 1700s, sloths were thought to be useless by the Europeans. French Naturalist Georges-Lois Leclerc de Buffon described these animals: “slowness, habitual pain, and stupidity are the results of this strange and bungled conformation. These sloths are the lowest form of existence. One more defect would have made their lives impossible.”

The Isle of Cats is a game a lot like Tetris, where you are on an island and trying to collect fancy cats to put on your boat. Each round, there are four cats per player around the island, and you have to fit as many as you can around your boat. You can get points by filling up rooms in your boat, fulfilling objectives, and covering up rats. The game also has a more complicated version with an extra type of cat and fish. The game fits up to four players and is very fun to play with anyone.

Infinity is bigger than you can imagine. It is the number at the end of the number line, and yet it doesn’t ever end. And as it turns out, when you place mathematics under the weight of an impossibly large number, things start to snap.

Finding the perfect spot to build your house in Minecraft can be difficult for some people. When deciding where to build, you have to make some tradeoffs. First, you have to consider if you want a lot of land for your base or to be near a lot of resources. If you choose to have access to resources, decide what resources are most important. For example, if you like spruce wood, you would probably want to build your house near a spruce forest. Finally, consider what biome would be the most fun for you. Whether it’s because of aesthetics or because it’s fun to spend time in that biome, make sure you’re happy with wherever you choose to set up your base.

Baby oil is a thing we have all heard of, seen, and possibly used, but what exactly is it? Most people don’t question what it’s made of, its uses (besides moisturizing babies’ skin), or where it came from. Baby oil was first commercially sold by Johnson’s Baby Oil in 1935 as a product to help soothe young children and babies’ sensitive skin. It was one of the first mass-produced gentle oils for children. The oil is a mixture of 98% mineral oil and 2% fragrance. Mineral oil is an inert substance meaning it doesn’t mix with other things. Baby oil doesn’t clog your skin because it only sits on top of it, allowing it to act as a barrier to keep moisture in and soothe your skin. This is the main reason people use it on babies; when they are born, the top layer of their skin is extremely thin and easily damaged. The locked-in moisture helps babies’ sensitive skin recover from diaper rash and eczema while also acting as a protective barrier until the child can grow their own.
