Three Board Games to Play with Friends!

My family loves to play board games, so this week I decided to write a review on three games with varying complexity and games that match different types of people.

Machi Koro is a very simple game where you build a city from the cards that are available. There are many different types–some get you money, and some get you payback on your friends. The main goal of the game is to build all the landmarks around your city. It fits 2-4 players and doesn’t take too long to play either.

The Search for Planet X is a very fun game where the player is a scientist trying to find Planet X, using the information that you find. The player searches through areas, comets, and asteroids to find the Planet. It is a game that acts like a more complicated sudoku and is a new puzzle each game. You play the game with a sheet that is hidden from everyone to track what you know about the sky. You also have to download an app to get all the knowledge you need for the game. It fits up to 4 players and is a very fun game to play.

Clank! is a deck building game where you are in a dungeon, trying to find treasure by using the cards that you draw from the deck. You build up these cards  over the course of the game. It fits up to 4 players, (6 with expansions) and is very fun to play with anyone. It is a fun 30-60 minutes to spend with friends, while escaping the dragon and maybe finding mysterious monkey totems.
