The Perfect Banana Bread Recipe

Hello! Do you like to bake? If so, this is the perfect banana bread recipe, compliments of the Salty Marshmallow! Always remember to use ripe bananas. You can tell because they will start to get brown and mushy. This recipe can ensure a moist and fresh tasting bread. Enjoy! 

Ingredients: 

6 large bananas 

2 sticks or ½ cup of butter 

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons Vanilla extract 

4 Cups All Purpose Flour

2 Cups Granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon 

To get started, preheat the oven to 350°F/176°C. Then melt the butter (in a large bowl) and put in the microwave until melted. Then, add the bananas to the same bowl and mash with a fork. Put eggs in the bowl as well and stir until no yellow streaks remain. Add the vanilla extract and stir too (you can add the eggs and vanilla in together, just make sure to stir till there are no yellow streaks). Also make sure that the bananas are thoroughly mashed, so there are no chunks left. 

In another large bowl and the dry ingredients- flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and whisk together. Combine the dry and wet ingredients with a spatula only till combined, do not over mix. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and put it in the oven for 45-55 minutes. *Stick a toothpick in the center of the bread, and if it comes out clean, it is good to go!*
